Teaching Listening: Edpuzzle

Edpuzzle is an easy-to-use platform allowing you to engage every student, one video at a time. Get to know more about us below.

Why videos?
More than 65% 1 of students are visual learners, and +95% 2 of your students watch YouTube regularly. Videos are a powerful resource, but it can be difficult to hold students accountable for something you can’t track. That’s why we created Edpuzzle – we were once teachers with this same problem.

1) Vakos, Patricia. “Why the blank stare? Strategies for visual learners.” (2003). Prentice Hall eTeach.
2) Jarboe, Greg. “No Matter How You Define It, Generation Z Can’t Live Without YouTube.” (2017). Tubular Insights.

How does it work?
We unlock the power of videos through simple editing tools and dazzling student data. The process is simple – find a video, add questions and assign it to your class. Watch as they progress and hold them accountable on their learning journey.
